Handcrafted Doves


Easter doves are a traditional Italian cake that is eaten during the Easter holidays. Colomba is a dove-shaped cake similar to panettone, but with a different flavour and texture. Colomba comes in many variations, from the classic flavour to fancier versions, such as chocolate dove, filled with chocolate chips or pistachio cream, or dove with candied fruit, filled with peaches, apricots, cherries or blueberries.

Soft and fragrant

Pistì artisan doves are born slowly in our workshop in Bronte. Our master pastry chefs carefully guard the mother yeast from year to year. The dough, prepared with the finest ingredients, is left to rise for up to 36 hours. Pistì doves can be tasted in a variety of ways, traditional, with candied fruit, filled with pistachio cream and covered in white or dark chocolate.
